HttQ is a utility server that runs on Quantel GenerationQ box and enables access to internal Dylan drive via web interface.

Benefits

Despite Quantel's QXML ability to communicate with GenerationQ servers over the network it has serious limitations:

QXML is limited to local networks
QXML is limited to Microsoft Windows clients

HttQ is designed to overcome those limitations.

HttQ enables access to GenQ application from any computer equipped with modern web browser:

This means that Apple, Linux, Irix, Solaris users can easily browse content of Dylan drives and transfer data in and out of the system. Support for other browsers will be available soon.

HttQ enables access to the GenQ application from anywhere on the network. It is possible to browse clips and do transfers from anywhere in the world.

With basic knowledge of HTML and CSS it is possible to personalize the application and make it look completely different. See screenshots for sample skins.

This download is free. But you must register in order to receive temporary activation key.

Note: HttQ requires QXML to be installed on the host computer.
